That's more than enough.

Don't get dragged into the hype of big-screen televisions, etc. I don't know of anyone who has ever given or received one for Christmas.

You are going to spend $500 on each person for presents? I guess you are rich.

My mom says she used to get an orange for Christmas, and thought that was a big deal.

I blow art glass so I don't really spend money on Christmas, just figure out everyone's favorite colors.

Thats more than enough! We arent spending that much on our family of four this year. But we are looking to buy a house at the begining of the upcoming year.

As far as what? Giving presents, sure I'd love to have $500 worth of presents sitting under the tree waiting for me to open!!

A family of FOUR? Heck yeah. I was from a family of 6 and we didn't spend HALF that much. Lucky family!

That's selfish and excessive. Donate the whole amount to a local charity. Geez.

Also, one of my teachers once said, that the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked! :-)
