Don't worry about what others think as long as you know your doing the right thing and it sounds like you are. People are very jealous of others when they see what others have or are doing with there life. I've been through this with many people who are jealous of me.

I wouldnt say there was a specific term, but I'd simply call it "abstinance" abstaining from drink, cigarettes and drugs.
