Conversation is not a lecture. Okay, I have several times used the word and many a times did not mean it. But why..........?

I try not too, although we all have those feelings, the words- hate, never and can't- bring forth such bad and negative feelings, I have tried to refrain from using them. Sometimes its hard to change my perception- but using more positive words can make a huge difference in your outlook on life!

Of course. As in "I hate that I have to do the dishes from last night".

I have. I have also used the words "loathe", "detest", and "abhor" in conversation, as well.
