what are some sites that have maps that show significant battles and who won them of the revolutionary war?

http://www.pbs.org/ktca/liberty/chronicle.html is a good choice for battle descriptions.
http://www.dean.usma.edu/history is a good site for maps. Once you get to this link, select "Our Atlases" on the left side of the page. Then choose "Go to Atlases" on the next page. The resulting page will give you a map list. The American Revolution will be found 4th from the top of the list.
Another interesting site is http://www.si.umich.edu/spies/index-methods.html. It chronicles letters, notes and such that were smuggled by spies during the Revolutionary War. Hope all this helps.
