It all depends upon your pain threshold You can actually practise at home by pinching the area. If you do that it may swell a little bit but it will sort of numb it out. One tip is that you should have this done professionally they know what they are doing and take all the precaution's on this type of piercing. You will regret it if you try to do this on your own.
When it is being pierced it happens so quickly you do not have the time really to ponder on it. After it may hurt a little bit but eventually it will fade away.
best time is when its cold outside anyhow. It sort of numbs it as you walk outside.
go slow for the first little bit as you may feel a little woozy after its done. Good Luck
One other tip Sometimes eyebrow piercings have a tendency to migrate. They sometimes knock themselves right out of the skin.
talk to the professional piercer that is doing it to give you suggestions on that.

Talk to the piercing studio first to find out if they offer Elma Cream. It numbs the area and is used for those with a needle phobia, as well as children. I has to be put on the area though an hour before the procedure. My Autistic son had to have blood work done and they used the cream. He said he felt nothing. I'm not sure how deep it penetrates though, but have heard of it used during tattoo sessions as well. It's powerful stuff.

I haven't had my eyebrow done, but I did get my nose pierced. It hurt, but wasn't that bad. It only lasts for a second. Check your state's laws and make sure you can get it done. You might need one of your parents take you. Also, make sure you have it done by a professional. Otherwise you'll risk diseases. Hope that helps. Take care.

It hurts those of us who have to look at it and know we're paying taxes just so teen moms can mutilate themselves.
