...of course they do (not) .

this is a very good question and i want to respond fairly.

i know the answer to it and that is there is no one answer.

there will be times that they do and there will be times that they do not.....enjoy prostitution. depending on who you talk to...depending on the conditions under/over which they perform.

there are generally speaking two types of prostitutes.

the type which operate off of the street and the type which perform on the street.

if you speak with either type you will discover that there is greater danger to the street walker type and these are the girls which will both enjoy and not enjoy their work and their enjoyment will be directly related and proportional to the 'perception' and 'esteems' of self and society which may come their way. and both come their way .... so it happens that their own psyches(esteems/body) will either be destroyed or uplifted in 'relation' to the experiences which they have endured and attempt to over-come. ... but eventually their total experience (in maturity) will show them why they chose this trade and why they leave it.

the other variety of prostitute is the more upscale type...she do not walk the streets....she is somewhat more refined seeking and resource enabled and serves a clientele which would prefer not to associate with the more open and socially vulnerable sort.

but she is more likely to be uplifted by her trade since her pay is far greater than the lower-class hooker and other opportunities may be provided for her by and through her associations.

both varities of ladies are vulnerable to social injustice and disease of mind and body and she may have addictions which have become supplementary for her bondage and esteem building and it would not be uncommon for her to be ab/used in criminal activities.

she is often from an abusive background and i use the word abusive very loosely here for abuse is as common as the air we breathe.....and it is always reducible to unconditional love and acceptance being void in her life and in the lives of those around her. but ... it is sometimes (or often) the choice she makes (or is offered or is forced upon her) to escape ab/use and conditions which have become a burden and de-liberating against her.

and oddly........it is common that a woman can recognize within herself a love giving nature provided and disguised in the sexual performance so it is not always true she do not enjoy what she do. but it is seldom fulfilling (or very seldom) because although sex is an opportunity for sharing intimately of the entire beings of person(s)....it really only occurs or is recognized by happenstance....and if a prostitute of either variety (the street-walker or call-girl) sees herself as merely an income earner then she will probably see her ''john'' as a sex-starved or love-starved person. which is definitely unfulfilling and degrading to this man.

however.......she is human and so is the person she serves (and is served by).

which brings me to this consideration....by fair and honest human appraisal.

prostitution (as it is legally defined...and incorrectly so by all human standards) is a deception since all humans desire love and intimacy (with some one relevant of the opposite sex....*you gays listen close**for it is not sex which defines you but your minds and spirit embodied*)....prostitution is a deception and reduction of human tendencies to exchange love disguised as sex but for the purpose to alleviate need of human contact and communion.

thank you all for your attention.

be well

Do many people like their dead-end jobs?

Seriously now. You are treating prostitution like it is an abomination of human nature. First, let's talk about supply and demand. Who do prosititues serve? Typically male clients. And if these clients, who are typically male, did not have a demand, then there would be no use for the a supply, or prostitution. Now, let's simmer this down a little bit. Women, as prostitutes, are serving men sexually, as clients. It is disempowering work, I imagine, based on that very notion.

I can't speak for a prostitute - I know sex workers who work in clubs, but I don't know anyone who has walked the streets. My sex worker friends enjoy their work. They strip and work in clubs which treat the employees very well. Once again, as for prostitutes, it's a high paying job with high risks as well. But, at the heart of it all, it's just a job, a way to pay the bills.

I have learned from various sources that many prostitutes have been abused as children, and this made them dyfunctional and unable to perform normally in society. They are vulnerable. They make money any way they can, and prostitution is always an available option. I think their experiences as prostitutes is a contination of that abuse. It is the only kind of experience that they are familiar with, and familiarity brings a certain amount of secuity, or at least the PERCEPTION of it.

For the most part, prostitution is very detrimental to the practitioner's self-esteem. There are always exceptions to this, of course. There are sex workers out there who enjoy their jobs. However, many prostitutes don't actually choose that life. They are forced into it due to poverty or drug abuse. For these people, it's a nightmare. It doesn't have to be, though.

Yes. Why not ?!!
It is --- sometimes ---- better to have fun with a gentleman than
being "mobbed" at the office.... do You really think a whore is a slave or a drug-edict !??? I mean even women are free and sometimes do have a choice .... And sometimes it is better to bring some light into the life of those poor men than thinking about sex all day and all night long.... and worrying about a drunken husband who is out with his "best friends" ...

Sweet dreams and a "special" BJ from Viktoria

Picture yourself being physically intimate with one stranger after another. Whoever can pay the price can enjoy your body. How would you feel about that?

Depends, most do it for the money. Some just are whores so they figure might as well get sex and make money, others just do it to survive.
