Ouija is the commercial name created by Parker Brothers when they started mass producing the device once more commonly known as a spirit board. The name is derived from the French 'Oui' and the German 'Ja', both meaning yes. If you are a believer in the supernatural then, yes, they work and it wouldn't matter if you used a bought version, an old family heirloom or one thrown together from paper and a drinking glass. Skeptics of course would say that it is all in the mind of the participents. On a personal note... the planchette of my Great-grandmother's board will sometimes move with NO ONE touching it. So how could it be the participents moving it?

whats up the respond on the Ouija is blended. There are comments that its a pretend, a activity the place messages are spelled out by utilising the consumer unaware with the aid of some subconscious reflex. For myself that's a unfavourable gadget of divination that could desire to not be utilized by utilising everybody. basically you do not ought to purchase a board. you additionally could make one out of something. All that's needed is the English alphabet a-z, numbers 0-9, specific, no, and so long. Write this on card inventory, place them on a table or a floor and use a tumbler as a pointer and you have a witch board. regardless of the convenience or the charm of those boards, don't be a fool. The boards can open door and place you into touch with issues you won't be in a position to even think of. the diverse extraordinary issues you may win utilising the witch board are possession, foul odors, screams, voices, melancholy, destroyed relationships, suicide etc...does that sound life exciting to you? in case you're desirous to discover the supernatural, then by utilising all recommend touch an outstanding team on your area and alter into an investigator. Its a safer, greater effective thank you to appreciate the supernatural as against offering your self as a dinner social gathering for some yowling hell hound.

One of the few things I know is this, that most of the stories from people I know that have had a bad experience with the occult starts out with, "We were screwing around with a Ouija board and...."

OK, answer for the occult minded. The Ouija board is used by clearing your mind, and allowing whatever is out there to take a ride. If you don't know how to filter out the nasties, and IF you don't know how to protect yourself, it can be a very nasty experience. Not everything that floats around out there is nice, and some things out there are downright nasty.

Answer for the skeptically minded (all demons are thankful for "rational men"). The Ouija board works by the subconscious mind subtly affecting the muscles in the arm, and moving the indicator around the board. Mostly this is random movements, but sometimes it actually forms words and sentences. Many folks, who aren't very introspective (the TV generation) have numerous repressed emotions, repressed ideas, and other things that they haven't dealt with in their psyche. This is what keeps the psychiatric community in BMW's. Psychosis, Neurosis and obsessions can result from this tapping of these repressed items.
Take your pick.

If you call, something will answer. The objective reality of what answers is immaterial, to the person calling, it is real.

That is what I believe about Ouija boards. I do use the Tarot, but I've found that the "Spiritualism" side of divination is fraught with danger for the unprepared, and if it's treated as a joke can often bite you in the rear. (needless to say, I follow the occult answer)

A friend and I used one years ago, and I'm telling you the absolute truth. The pointer did move on it's own, our fingers were a good inch above it, not touching it at all. It spelled out several people's names, not anyone we were familiar with. I've read a lot of Sylvia Browne's books, (famous psychic) and she says they should never be used because of the chance of letting in negative entities. I haven't used one since. Yes, I definitely believe that they work.

Have you ever sleepwalked, or do you know anyone who sleepwalks? Ouija boards work by tapping in to people's sub conscious minds.

They're real. They open the door to the otherworld and you can't control what comes through. Don't play with them.
