i have always said dude not because im stupid and dont address people by their full name, but because it is american way. is the term "dude" jjust used in america or is it used as slang in other countries like England or France.

It has invaded other English speaking countries through American movies and television. Youthspeak. It usually starts disappearing around age 25. The need to be cool abates as they integrate into a more demographically diverse society, through jobs, education, and family responsibilities. In other words, they grow up.

England does use it I dont think France but more interesting is tht even Indians Use it

well, that's just the local slang. people say it bcause they've been doing so for generations
like how indians say "Re or yaar" before anything

as sad as it is youth from many countries seem to follow trends of just about anything, american kids do, seems they think its cool...wise up dudes!!!! lol
