Mine does that when I'm doing an 8 hour endurance race manually on Gran Turismo 4.
Surprised I haven't killed mine doing the 24 hour ones though.
But I am too scared of killing it to try the Formula GT Championship. 15 endurance races! Probably need to leave the machine on for a whole week.

yep the ps2 slimline has a little fan inside it doesnt do a lot but it does help keep ur ps2 in the rite temperature

your lucky, when the ps2 slimline first came out the power points got to hot and burnt holes in the surface it was on. they had to be recalled

yeah, mine does that, but if you start to get a smell of some sort coming from it you should turn it off and let it cool down for a while.
