I made a little survey yesterday and found out that many people think that there is indeed no lack in the childrens music, the problem is actually on the kids and the parents itself. Any suggestions on how to make them listen to their own music, given the fact that these days kids tend to listen to the latest pop hits rather than kids music?

Peer pressure like everything thing else these days. Without proper parental guidance and discipline from parents (and I see none at all these days) kids are more apt to listen to what their friends do or and say rather then common sense of listening to their parents (if they are giving any).

You might consider screening it yourself. Believe it or not (consider "Enrique, Ricky, and Mickey"), many recent kids' songs are set to modern pop and dance beats.
