To the person who said everyone calls bedclothes sheets, actually most people call duvet covers duvet covers. Collectively with sheets and pillowcases, they are bedclothes.

If my life is ever so organized and boring that I feel guilty that I haven't ironed the sheets, I hope the end is near. Thread count is important! Clean is very important but I will never iron sheets, towels, underwear or socks. Life is too short.

bedclothes or sheets as everyone else calls them will do very well with just folding just after the dryer. The higher thread count they are the better they look folded and the more the wrinkle if not folded. If you are talking mostly about the top sheet with no comforter... then you might want to iron it to make a very nice impression but to iron the fitted or flat sheet under the top sheet would be pointless other than to impress that you live in a house that you don't USE the bed, but for guests to look at. If you learn how to properly fold sheets, the end result when you go to use them should be well enough. good luck.

I always iron my pillow cases, top sheets and duvet covers on my ironing board. I put my sheets on the bed and then iron them. It's much easier as I use fitted sheets on the bottom.

I iron pillow cases, but sheets etc I simply fold flat and put in the airing cupboard until needed.

I iron mine. Pillowcase and the sheets. It looks nice, my pillow cases seem to look cleaner longer, and it just feels nice to get into freshly ironed sheets.

Ironing bedcolthes is so fun.
My mum made me do it once and i go so angry due to the size and awkwardness.
Maybe I'm just bad at ironing...
Feels nice though.

Nope!! Once i'm in bed, they're not on long enough to even get noticed if they're ironed or not. So i don't bother in the 1st place!!
