depends how he is drinking it. who cares why your laughing at him? nothing wrong with laughter, enjoy the comical experience! :-)
well, just make sure you don't laugh at other people, they have feelings. (unlike the gerbil).

I think it's quite weird yet i start laughing hysterically just thinking about your gerbil drinking water, now you answer me is that weird?

Thats funny, but not weird. I have a hamster and he lives in a cage that has bars at the bottem and then there is a plastic piece ontop with a door of little bars. Well he will climb the bars and then chew on the door bars, like he is trying to escape. He does this for hours, but the funny thing is, he will usually be doing this upside down or sideways. He gets to chewing and then he just throws his little body everywhere, way to cute. And my husband and I laugh at him.
