Alright, so I've been wearing a 32 D for the past 3 years (I'm 21). This year I have no idea what happened, if I lost weight, muscle...I don't know. Earlier this year I had some 32's and they fit me fine and I would wear them on the first hook, gradually my back shrank and I started wearing them on the last hook. This was over the coarse of 6 months, and it wasn't the bra itselft stretching out because I've been searching for a 32 in stores to fit me and every single one I try on I've been starting at the last hook. I haven't lost weight, I've gained about 7 pounds in the last six months, I know it's not muscle because I've been doing the same routine everyday so it's not like I gained or lost any of that. My husband suggested to me it might be my herniated discs? But I wouldn't think they would do that. So my next size to be is a 30DD. The only stores that carry them are online and they are so expensive! VS, Fredericks...no stores around here carry them.

Also, 32D was my fitted size and I'm quite familiar in the bra world to know 30DD is my sister-size that I would be wearing.

I live in Beverly, MA and I've been sewing for over 10 years but bras are very tricky. If there was someone who lives around here that could help me with them. Going to a seamstress is out of the question because they'll charge just as much. I've searched so many websites and have found my size, but the price is an issue. I'd prefer to buy them under $40. I'm just so frustrated, and it's not like they're that huge...if I was normal and wore a 34 I'd wear a C...Please, help.

La DeRoute do bras from 30A. Sounds like you need to have a proper bra fitting somewhere to get an an acurate size. You can always go to be measured professionally somewhere - most clothing department stores offer this service, then go and find a supplier in a price range you can afford. Not sure if you are in England, but if not, you can probably find a good store wherever you live.

is this a philosophical question? or only a visit down mammary lane...tee hee Take measurements, then you recognize what length (diameter). as far as cup length that is a count number of attempting them on & seeing what matches. sure i have heard that maximum women people don't have the right length. you may continually flow to a underclothes save & have someone help you with a installation. i do not recognize of a bra that permits with breast develop! in case you may invent one you may want to placed plastic surgeons out of employer & grow to be a millionaire! Tee hee! There are bras which will make you look larger (with padding etc, or push-up bras which push them mutually & grant you with extra cleavage). how you'll come across a very good bra is to attempt 1000's of them on & see which one you want. a good number of ladies people lately are captivated with their breast length. i recognize 2 those that are turning out to be boob jobs. in my opinion i might want to by no potential attempt this! i'm pleased with what I have. not too enormous or too small. most suitable. i'm a 34B. some women people have surgical procedures & finally end up searching like sketch characters with DDs! that is not healthful. I blame the media for bombarding us with unrealistic pictures of ladies people. besides, solid success. satisfied figuring out to purchase!

Even though a 30DD would be the same cup size going down from a 32D, you might want to get yourself measured just in case. It's free, and you would know for sure where you lost the size, band or cup. While you may have gained 7lbs, it could be muscle mass, but you've lost more than that in fat. And remember that breasts are partly fat deposits, so you might have lost a cup size in there, and that's what is causing all the bras to seem like they are too big. I know you said you haven't changed routine, and you don't think it's any difference, it never hurts to be sure.

What you could try is eBay. Many sellers do offer new bras, in hard to find sizes. It would be hard to alter a bra, they are designed to be worn as made. If you tightened the band, it may throw the straps out of balance, then they would need to be re-set, then the cup might be off, etc...

If you sew, can't you just take up the sides of the bra, like tailors do, when they need to make something smaller??? Or stop in your local tailors/cleaners shop and ask them if they can help you with an economical solution.

Or in the interim, wear sports bras, they have some really cute ones, if they don't conflict with your outfits.

P.S. Another "in the meantime" remedy might be "small saftey pins" on some of your favorite bras, this is temporary fix, until you find a permenate one.

Good Luck
