My firewall keeps asking permission to outgo information for svchost.exe. Anyone know what this is for?

Description:

The svchost.exe is a System Critical File which maintain your Local Network and other notworking resources.

When you go to task manager and select the process pane, you will find plenty of svchost.eve which have been opened up by

NETWORK SERVICE
SYSTEM
LOCAL SERVICE

This is each network processes are controlled by this application.

its the daemon process which maintains network connections on your system.. it is a part of kernel and is essential for accessing internet and network
