If you get the blue screen of death then the best thing to do is wipe everything and reinstall it .. I know is frustrating. Usually the blue screen appears when some key files in windows are corrupted or infected with a virus. You can try re-installing windows only maybe that will work. Also clean up redundent files and programs on your computer and clean the Cache.
One more thing ---Are you using a Graphics card which the game supports.?
Hope this helps

Ok there are several reasons this may happen.the memory is usually typical of blue screens. However it could be CPU heating
Check to make sure you're cpu fan is working. Are you over clocking the cpu?If not then check the cpu temperature. There are alot of programs to assist you in finding the cpu temperature.
But my bet is you are using some kind of forgive me for the word
"cheap" memory.I once went the cost effective way and bought some "cheap" memory which had elixer chips on it and my computer blue screened every five seconds. Now if this isnt the case it should give you a error code or should say something on the blue screen that will indicate the problem. If you could post the error message it would help us to help you..

could be the program you are running on your system or just the hard drive is taking a dive. Blue screen is not good. If you don't know for sure what is causing this problem, try writing done the code it gives you when it crashes and look up that system code for the answer. Not much more I can think of , other than taking it in and paying to much to have it looked at. Hope things work out well and simple for you.

Firstly i would need to know the error message that the BSOD is giving you before being able to help. BSOD are hardware problems (not OS's) and it will give you a module name and memory address. (Although this will show as a dll or other system file it is not the software at fault) Most common errors of this type that occur during gameplay are bad ram errors. (This is not a case of running out of Ram) Download MemTest and do a full scan.
Other likely hardware issues would be the sound card and graphics card (AGP or PCI??) update your motherboard drivers for AGP or PCI. Then update your Graphic card drivers.
If you give me more info i can help further.

funny thing, this happened to me last night, and theres a simple solution...go start>control panel>system properties>advanced>start up and recovery>then untick the automatically restart option....this will stop any future restarts
reason...the reason for these restarts can be hardware and software related..i.e direct x within a game can make the computer restart as you may not have the correct direct x driver and the game could have some corrupt code in it,i could go on forever with reasons
i personally think that all the info we download from the web dosent help, and this includes cookies, how do we know whats in files we download,it only takes one peice of dodgy data to mess up your p.c,thats why system security is so important,a good anti-virus,anti-spyware and firewall
looking at your spec,s your system is almost identical to mine except my cpu is a amd 3200+ ,1gb ram ,nvidia ge-force 6200 sp i am suprised you are having so many problems
i reckon your problems are hardware related, either the hard drive or a ide cable,i had a problem similar to yours about 2 years ago,and i found it to be a defective ide cable and all it took was a replacment cable(£2) and it was "job done"
so look in your case and apart from giving it a good dust out, check all connections and make sure that all leads, ide cables, and power leads are all in good condition
i hope you fix this problem.....good luck

It's definately a memory problem.
Did you use good quality memory???
Sounds like your 1GB of RAM might be dud.
Shutdown your computer and unplug it. Open it up and then carefully take the stick(s) of memory out and place it/them back into its slot. If you have more than one stick, swap them over.
Also try them in a different computer and see if it does the same thing. Or try using different sticks of memory.
If you have more than 1 stick of memory, only install ONE stick, run your computer until the point that it does the blue screen. If that individual stick is fine, try the other stick - it could be only 1 is dud, etc etc...

to characteristic to what somebody else noted, formerly I reinstalled residing house windows, i might want to run ordinary attempt to envision my hardware adverse to clutter ups. highly contained in terms of the problematical force, even perhaps attempt a clean IDE cable and examine out it a second time. party, western digital has equipment you may receive, that nicely try the force for undesirable sectors, sensible status, ect..., I have 2 drives, that fail on the the speedy try, the drives artwork, yet will in some circumstances provide a blue show screen, because they're defective., also examine your memory, in case you may attempt operating with a million stick, and observe what takes position, if similar issue attempt yet another stick. memory mistakes are negative, experience they're problematical to wisely examine adverse to.

I like play game too. I face the same problem when I install Daemon tools 3.46 ( it's an old version ) but noproblem with the newer version of daemon tool. There are three solution :
1st : install the new version of deamon tool and then uninstall.
2nd : put your window cd in the drive and reset.( repair your
damage system )
3rd : The last option, format your PC.

yea, could be the ram as mentioned above, but you said you had to reinstall last week due to crashes.
did you install the latest graphics driver again or are you eventually running a generic driver? games often don't run with generic drivers, because they don't fully support the graphics card.
did you also reinstall DirectX? should be version 9.0c, you can check this clicking on Start -> Run and then enter the word "dxdiag" (without the quotes) then click Ok.
