IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. IT ONLY SAYS HIGHEST (36 BIT) AND MEDIUM (16 BIT)

Right click on the desktop, go to "Properties", "Settings", chlick the drop-down list for Colors and select 256. This should set it up.

If a dialog comes up asking if you want to keep these settings, click OK or Yes.

In Windows, right-click on an open area of screen. Do not go near any icons. A pop-up menu will appear. Go down to the bottom of the menu and click properties.

A dialog box will come up with tabs. Click on the Settings tab. There will be a drop down list with setting the color quality. Click on the arrow and set it to 256 colors. Click apply on the bottom of the box. Then exit out of the dialog box by clicking the X.

Happy gaming!
