First of all, you NEED to tell your husband/wife IMMEDIATELY. They won't be angry with you, they will only be happy that you told them before you got yourself and your family into debt. Especially if you have kids, teenagers, or your children are still in college, you reeeaaallly need to let your spouse know what is going on!!! If you don't, your family could be living on the street and SICK in just a few weeks! Believe it or not, once you're with a counselor, gambling problems are not a very difficult issue to solve. Let me ask you a question: would you rather tell your husband/wife about your gambling problem and risk a little tension in the house for a few days or would you rather continue this unruly habit, eventually get thrown into the streets by the stupid banks that are so inhumane and make anybody who can't pay their bills ontime homeless (even though they already have plenty of money, those selfish s*ns of b*tches) and then see your wife or children die of common street illnesses/drugs. Many children, teenagers, and even adults get into drugs, prostitution, etc. once living on the streets. It's horrible to see your kids or spouse live a downfall like that and not be able to do anything! None of this horrible stuff will happen to you, though, if you march from your seat right now after reading this answer and go tell your spouse about your ISSUE (it is not a PROBLEM that is huge and difficult to get out of, like alcoholism). Hope I helped and good luck...
