They not only lost, they played from behind all night. Not to say they could not do that back the game is over and and the bcs does not work like the other polls. I say they finish second after a bowl win.

If it were a 1-game season, you might be right.
But last time I checked, it wasn't, so you're not. It's a 12-game season. And Michigan played a lot of bad teams, and didn't look that impressive in many of their wins (Ball State, Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan State), not to mention playing a non-conference schedule outside of Notre Dame that looked like something that Virginia Tech would play (Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, Ball State). Even the Big Ten, in case you hadn't noticed, looked pretty awful this season, and will come up at least 1 team shy of filling its bowl slots (when the fourth best team is a really bad Penn State team, the conference sucks).
The SEC is a much tougher conference than the Big Ten is this year, and Michigan wouldn't have come close to surviving the stretch that Florida had to go through (at Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, at Auburn, and Georgia within 7 weeks) with less than two losses. Florida did it with one.
As for non-conference schedules, Michigan can't come close to playing the non-conference schedule that USC has. The combined record of the non-conference opponents for Michigan? 25-20, with Notre Dame having 10 of the wins. USC's? 28-5 (in case you forgot, and it's obvious you did, their other two non-conference opponents besides Notre Dame are Arkansas, who won the SEC West, and Nebraska, who won the Big Twelve North). The Trojans, unlike other contenders, played every game this season against a BCS-level opponent, and unlike many other contenders, only plays 6 home games this season (Michigan had 7, Florida 7 and one neutral-site game).
Do the world a favor the next time you post a question like this: When you see a team that's 11-1, don't focus on the 1 and forget about the 11. Who you've beaten is as important if not more important than who you've lost to.
I take both Visa and American Express for payment of the lesson you just got taught.

You guys had your chance against Ohio State and you guys did not rise to the occasion and beat Ohio St. Ohio State was just clearly better than Michigan in the game and Michigan did not have the guts to beat them.
Of course you think Michigan deserves a rematch in the Fiesta Bowl, but Michigan lost and you guys are not the conference champs. What makes you think Michigan should play Ohio State again? If Mickicken, errrr, Michigan Plays in the National Championship and loses, you guys will find something else to cry about.
I know Michigan are losers, but don't be so darn sore about the game because Ohio State won fair and square and sore losers shouldn't cry like girls to see if they can get their way.
OHIO STATE OWNS LLLLLLLLOYD CARR AND MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Notre Dame has no hazard on the call activity. If the two they and Michigan end at 11-a million, who did Notre Dame get pummeled by utilising AT living house early in the season? Michigan, what exchange into the score, 40 seven-21? Notre Dame has no hazard. the two Michigan, USC or Florida will play Ohio St.

this is for THEONLYBE. who the heck did ohio st play that makes them so great. texas, didnt they almost lose to illinois. anyway to all the michigan fans out there. YOU HAVE TO GO FOR NOTRE DAME THIS WEEKEND. they play usc and if notre dame can beat usc, Lee Corso said its more than likely we will have a rematch because over the year ohio st and michigan separated themselves from the rest of the country as far as complete teams. so i am starting now, Go Irish!! and for those who will probably ask well wouldnt notre dame go to the national championship then. NO!! they would not because michigan clobbered them in their own stadium and michigan would have the edge over the Irish

Michigan had their time yesterday to prove theirself. Michigan shouldn't be giving a second chance to OSU. It would be another great game if they did.
