definetly ipod cause its teh most popular thing on the world and plus it got lost of other stuff than only play music and it has some good covers

Um... An iPod is a music device and an MP3 is a musical file. So the two would work together. But, if you were to put your 30gb MP3 (song) on a 30gb iPod(music player) you would only be able to have the one song.
iPod= music player
MP3= music itself
But, to answer your question, iPods are superior MP3 players.

the 30 and 80 gig iPod each can play music, music videos, movies, tv shows, pod casts and i think more! I would get the iPod definatly... thats y im gettin either the iPod nano 8GB black in color (2nd gen.) or the iPod video black in color 30GB of memory.

IPod. I have had other brands (including Creative) and I sold them all on Ebay. The IPod is just better.

ipod are great, but they are really just another mp3. look around shop around and think about it, do you want the status of an ipod, or just an mp3? you can even find mp3s that will pick up radio stations
