Hopefully a christmas film at the cinema or rake out the christmas DVD's my fave is Elf!
Open a present....mulled wine and a chinese take away!
Wake up to Sherry more presents prep the veg, stick the bird in the oven and plan the TV for the day....oh and watch the Queeens Speech, i'm not a Royalist but it has to be done for entertainment value.
But as the years go by these traditions are lacking, last year was Lamb for dinner, and sleep for the afternoon!

We always go to Mass on Christmas Eve. I wish it was at midnight like the old days, but most people want it earlier.
Christmas day is very hectic. 2 parents, 4 kids (well, 2 are about grown), 2 dogs, 4 cats, huge tree (need one for the cathedral ceiling), too much stuff for them and not enough for me(it's always socks and underwear). We usually have about the same amount and kinds of food as we did for Thanksgiving then after we eat both sides of the family lay on tons of guilt because we didn't spend enough time with them. They all get invited here, but for some reason it's better for us to spend hours driving around than for them to come here.

We usually go to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day we exchange gifts and have a nice breakfast and watch a movie. It's generally just a slow and lazy morning.

we open one present on Christmas eve, but the kids don't get to pick it, our parents do and it is most of the time matching pajamas, then we put them on and watch the Grinch while drinking hot chocolate. Then when we wake up in the morning open our presents and then me and my brother go to my dad's house (our mom and dad are divorced) and open a bunch more christmas presents! It's a double christmas!

We get together with my family a couple of days before Christmas, and exchange presents with Grandma, and have an ornament exchange. Christmas Day itself is up for grabs. I work in a hospital, so some years I have to work that day. My husband would probably go up to see his oldest son and his ex would probably be there too. We've been married less than two years and I've yet to meet her. I don't think I want to.

We normally go to midnight celebration on the 24th. On the morning of Christmas we open our gifts and play a game. We always eat this sausage casserole. Later in the afternoon we go to my Brothers home. 5 of my brothers and sister will be there with their kids and spouses. We pick names and bring a nice gift, we also have a crazy, gross or funny gag gift we play white elephant. This is the best! We will have to cut it short this year, my son and I are getting on a flight at 10pm and going to Michigan. My second sister lives out of state will be getting married on Dec 30th. My son will be walking her down the aisle, as our parents have passed away.
I am so excited Can't wait!

Our tradition is that we have no tradition. Sad, but true. We kind of go with the flow. Being a nurse, I usually have to work part of the holiday.
