OK! So I have heard something today, which seems kinda fishy. Is it possible to get pregnant after a miscarriage WHILE theres still the dead fetus from the prior pregnancy in the uterus?

Hmmm I would think not, because your body miscarries once the pregnancy hormones stop, and wouldn't ovulate if there were still pregnancy hormones there.

HOWEVER there is some evidence that very rarely women ovulate when pregnant so I guess it is technically possible. (There is a term for it, but I can't remember)

Oh and you do not need a D&C for a miscarriage.

1st of all..... The fetus is very unlikely still in your uterus.. When a fetus miscarries ,it will expel itself at the beginning of the miscarriage or very soon after not like hours later. or even days later... Pregnant nope... But I would suggest a D&C so that you can get all the matter out of your uterus from the miscarriage...

My sister-in-law had twins. The first baby died in her womb when the baby is 4 months old. The other baby survive together with the dead one and she delivered her baby 37 weeks.

Strange but true.

Haven't you undergone D & C? You should have.
