My mom when she was a little kid,through the 8-10's she hadproblems sleeping.There was alwasys a gohst breathing right on top of her.Since she had a strict family, she could not run to her parents bed.I was just wanting to know if anyone has had enounters similar to this or diffent.

My mother told me that when she was a little girl, she was staying at her Grandmothers one day, and while her Grandmother was out in the garden, she was in the kitchen, and saw some kind of figure move toward her. It looked just like when the Catholic nuns use to wear the black habits, but it was the way it would look from the back of one with it being tall, and all black. She said that she was so scared she crawled way under the kitchen table, and didn't want to come out. She told her Grandmother about it, but her Grandmother, didn't want her to be scared and told her she was just seeing things. My mom said that a few days after that happened her aunt was killed in a car accident. She believes it was an omen. She still swore that she saw it her whole life clear up until the time she died. She had other stories as well, and I also do. For some reason, we see things at times, and know when something is going to happen, or have premonitions. The thing is, you cant turn it on and off when you want to, it just happens.

When i was little my freind up the street had a birthday party we were only either 8 or 10 or 11 and we were weird kids and loved ghosts and stuff llike that. Her brother was a goth,still is, and had a quiji board we played it a little then we started to play hide and seek. Me and my other freind hid togeher in the basmentm, half of it was a play room the other half storage. We were hiding when we looked at this mirror against the wass and we saw a shadow in it, it was a person, according to my freind they saw it numerous times after and say its an old lady, we were horrified and it got worse when a little dog or beaver shadow knocked the mirror over, we ran upstairs screaming and i think i cries lawl!

I was born in 1972 it makes me 34. When I was about 8(?) I was up in Cambello Bay in small town called Lubek Maine. A man who was a neighbor moved up tho Maine a year before, my parents went to visit him. He took us to his old/shop house he bought. He shared with my father a story, that a man killed his wife in the basement- I stayed in that house that night- while my parents slept I heard the what still believe to this day was a replaying of the man killing his wife- the sounds of a man on the stairs walking up/down?? anyways YES I have had a encounter YES I do truely feel ghosts or people can be trapped between worlds.

My mother swears that when I was about 3 years old, she overheard me talking to myself in my bedroom. She asked who I was talking to and I told her it was "Grandma". Apparently she laughed and said OK. Several days later I went to my grandmother's house and she and my mother decided to dig through some old family photos which had been stored away and it was while they were going through the old pictures that I picked one out and announced that I had talked to "her" the other day. It was the only surviving picture of my great-grandmother... a picture I could have never seen before as it had been in the attic. I can't say that I did or didn't have this conversation with my great grand-mother, but my mother still insists it happened... and it was over 30 years ago!

my sister had some sleeping problems. she told me that she had a dream once and it involved this guy that liked her and was always looking for her when we was in the old neighborhood. He would go to our friends house asking about when she would come by. Well one day as he was over our friends house waiting for her to visit he left and was killed by a drive by shooting. This happened like 10 years ago. She had the dream of him after 10 years. After the dream she had a funny feeling that he was near her when she would try to sleep either in the livingroom couch or her bedroom. She said she felt some1 sitting on the foot of the bed and was a strong feeling like it was even sunken. One day as walking to my moms house which was a few houses away she felt some1 spank her butt and she looked around no1 was around. She had a feeling it was him after that incident she didnt feel a pressence when she slept. I told her that i think there is like a rule with spirits that when they acutally touch a human then they disappear its like a no no to them.

I am a funeral director. There was a ghost that haunted one of my funeral homes at various times. It was a child and she would periodically turn on certain lights. This generally occurred only in the late fall. One time a couple of us saw her image on a stairway, and, a funeral director who used to work there many years ago saw he a couple of times and became an alcoholic because of it.

When I was around 9yrs old, my grandfather took me to a cemetary with him to visit a relative's grave. While there I looked up and saw someone, a man, looking at us from behind a tree some 12 feet away. I asked my grandpa, "Who is that man looking at us from behind that tree". My grandpa answered "What Man" He saw nothing. We immediately left the cemetary.
