I have a rover 200 with a faulty heat resistor pack and have no idea how to fix it. problem is without it heater wont work and cant defrost windows. anyone know how to fix them

It sounds like a problem I had with my Mondeo,the heater fan would only work at full speed,the resistor pack is usually set into the air trunking in the foot-well of the car and is just a matter of removing it(usually just pulls out) and disconnecting the multi plug,I got a good second hand one on eBay for a couple of quid and now all is well in the heater department.I hope this is some help to you.

Renew resistor, it's burned out. Located in footwell as mentioned above, its an easy DIY job. Get the replacement part first so you know what you're looking for

i think its behind the glove box on those rovers
