This is my second attempt to have a relationship and continue with my career path which includes travel. I love my job and I also love my boyfriend. Is it possible to have both? If so, how?

You both have to have a strong commitment to making the relationship work. And quality time is often much better than quantity time, you are much more focused on them and you shouldn't have to much problem with boredom in the relationship.
Through technology, long distance relationships need not suffer do to lack of communication. E-mail, IM's and cameras are very beneficial and cost effective in any type of relationship. What a bonus.

I was in the Air Force for 20 years and spent at least 7 months a year on the road living in hotels every night going to bed wishing i was at home with my wife and kids. When i was at home we made the best of the time we spent together. I missed much of my kids growing up. My wife has stayed with me through all of that , that's what spouses do we are very happy today married 30 years and when we are together we make the best of the time Its all in what you want and who you want to be with and the commitment you have with each other.
