Yes, I have and the writing is superb. To think that David could overcome such unimaginable obstacles and not only survive, but also to become so intelligent. The writing is definitely prose, and the storyline is enough to draw the reader in as to not put it down until finished. Absoloutely riveting and moving to a point I have not read before. The part that bothers me the most is the fact that there are things like that happening every minute of every day and not much is being done to protect the children.......Thanks for your time reading this.

Oh my god yes. Its sad. I'm half way through. I've already read The lost boy which is also sad.
I would never do that to a child.

Yes and also The Lost Boy and A Man Named Dave! All were written by Dave Pelzer about his life.

No, but I definitely have that book on my list. It looks like a very good read, though sad.

Yes. In fact, our whole family has and my younger sister read the other two books. It was so sad...I was so angry at his mother after that.

Oh yes, and it is a very sad story. He's got more books out too, I think they occur after that book.
