No doubt it should be Florida if they run the table...they will have just 1 loss to a 10-2 team. They will have beaten Arkansas, Tenn., and LSU.

USC, LVille, WVU...these teams shouldnt even be mentioned.

USC - loses to 7-4 Oregon St., hasnt beaten anyone worth mentioning yet (Arkansas was w/o their starting QB and their best player McFadden was hurt and only played a few series). Cal is not very good as you saw on the opening game of college football against UT. Oregon St. is awful and they were beaten by them, title shot should be GONE.

LVille - the whole BigEast is so overrated, LVille's big W over Maimi isnt so big now that Miami is like 5-7...HAHA yeah great W. They were beaten by Rutgers who just got drilled by Cinci.

WVU - they were beaten by LVille and have 0 quality wins, 0. Pitt sucks, even if they beat Rutgers bid deal they were a product of a very very very weak schedule.

It has to be either Florida or Michigan in the title game, edge to Florida

USC schedule is 2nd toughest behind Stanford? No chance...USC has played a weak weak schedule. The Pac-10 is the 4th best conf. in college football. SEC is 1 or 2. UCLA, Wash., Wash. St., Cal, Oregon, none of these teams are quality wins. Cal and Oregon only look good in the Pac-10, when Cal went to a real school (Tenn) they got absolutely demolished. That schedule is weak. Yeah Floridas non-conf. schedule sucked, but thats b/c their conference schedule (which means alot more) was stacked. Tenn, Auburn, Arkansas (eventually), LSU...these teams are all better than any Pac-10 school (other than USC). USC is good, deserves something big, but no chance they deserve a shot for the title. Mich. has given 2 teams their only loss (ND and Wisc.) and they played Ohio St. TOUGH. So whoever runs the table in the SEC should get to go and if not then Michigan. USC schedule sucks (non conf is good) and yes Oregon St. is awful, theyve beaten 6 teams w/ a 25-42 record, and USC...awful.

Stop looking at a few games and look at the ENTIRE schedule.

USC deserves the title shot if they run the table because:
2nd toughest schedule in the country (only Stanford's is tougher)
All games are against BCS-eligible schools (last time I checked, Western Carolina doesn't qualify)
Non-conference opponents are a combined 29-4 (29-2 if you don't include their results against USC)

And I'd love to know when 7-4 (Oregon State) became awful. Playing a 2-9 Division I-AA team (who is also 0-7 in their conference) is awful. Playing a 3-8 Central Florida team is awful.

I give Florida a lot of credit for running the gauntlet they did, but don't talk to me about a few games. It's a 12 game season, and overall USC's schedule is tougher than either Florida's or definitely Michigan's.

Nobody is saying USC deserves to be in the Championship game. People are saying that USC deserves to be there IF they run the table...but they still have to play Notre Dame and UCLA.

Overall, USC has looked better in their wins than Florida has...yeah, I know the Gators crused Eastern Carolina yesterday, 62-0...but still...

Florida's one win against a top ten team was their victory against LSU, at Florida. They have cleaned up against their weaker opponents, but they beat Tennessee by a point, lost to Auburn, beat Georgia by a TD at home, beat Vanderbilt by 6, beat South Carolina at home by a point, and has one game left against Florida State, and Florida State sucks. Both Georgia and South Carolina are over rated...The Gators should have destroyed both teams. Are you going to call a victory over Florida State a 'quality' win?

Michigan already had their shot at Ohio State. The berth in the title game should be between USC and Florida...although I seriously doubt that either of them can beat Ohio State.

The BCS is retarded, its all subject to interpretation. The only sport that goes through this crap every year is college football because unlike every1 else college football decides to go with a non-playoff. I find it pretty dumb that its almost impossible for a cinderella to be in the championship. A case can be made for many teams, and it will be up to voters and not the football teams themselves to decide who plays in the title game.

THE 2 BEST TEAMS NEED TO PLAY FOR A NATIONAL TITLE florida will lose to arkansas in the sec championship game. and usc will lose to notre dame. notre dame got throttled by michigan thus meaning if florida and usc both lose MICHIGAN HAS TO PLAY i sure as hell would pay to just watch the game on t.v. that game yesterday was AWESOMEEEEEEE. anyone that says they dont want a rematch is an ohio state buckeye fan. becuase they know they got lucky with that damn personal foul blow to the head by shawn crable on 3rd and 10.
