Go to "Dollar Central" and pick up a nice (cheap) box of Christmas cards. Go to your local lottery retailer and buy scratch & win tickets for each of your friends and perhaps blow a whole $ 10.00 on the crummy in-laws.
Write some nice warm & fuzzy stuff in the cards and wish them luck with the tickets & the new year!
Merry Christmas! And may 2007 be brighter!

In-laws.....get a photo collage frame and fill it with snap shots...should cost less than $10 if you get the frame on sale or at WalMart.
Co-workers...baked goods or candy placed on holiday plates and wrapped in cellophane. Or a $ Store mug with a few packets of flavored hot cocoa & a candy cane.
Presentation can add value to a cheap gift...cellophane abd lots of curling ribbon!

A nice card with a gift voucher for a department store is always a good way to go. Write something nice in the card to make them think you actually give a hoot, and they can buy themselves whatever they want with the credit. Plus it saves you having to shop properly for people you don't really like that much. Hope that helps. :)

Well Bah Humbug Sam. Aren't we the jolly self this year.
I'm thinking your in-laws could use a cook book and perhaps some cooking lessons.
Don't know what you should give your co-workers.
Peace.

might go to www.orientaltradingco.com to see what they have. this year I purchased a set of Cross Worry Stones ( a stone with a Cross stamped in it ) and some plane stones to match. these along with a Christmas Angel Ornament and a 2007 calendar are all people are getting this year.

yes, i say go to dollar central and get them each something. You can sometimes get creative there and come up with some nice things that they will think are nice.

Buy them a lot of stuff. Just make sure you have it sent collect to them. If they like it, they'll pay for it. If not, they don't.
Either way it doesn't cost you a dime.
Remember, it's the thought that counts.
