I live in Iran and I cannot even download a simple music.They all ask for money.They do EVERYTHING with money.I think it's impossible for me to fill in those stupid forms asking for my non-existance credit card number and my home address and get a real answer.Whenever I try to update my anti-virus I get a message that I can't to that because I'm located here.Isn't it unfair?If I hadn't found that special anti-virus which can be updated from here, how was I supposed to deal with 310 new viruses that had attacked my PC?Why do I have to register where ever I visit on the internet?We don't have any copy right law in Iran and this law on the internet has made my whole life hell.Why is this?I cannot even find a website to upload some music there because of copy right law.So why do they say the internet is FREE for everyone, while it's actually a prison.There's absolutely nothing I could do but searching for things, reading the news and some other things all concerning READING AND WRITING.(Sometimes sending a music file to my friend)In Iran we can buy any CDs for a very cheap price.I've heard windows vista is gonna cost you a fortune (around 700 dollars, more expensive than a PC) and that play station 3 games are gonna cost you 70 dollars, while we could buy them for half a dollar in Iran (When they come out).In fact we buy every new software and game for LESS THAN HALF A DOLLAR.Who controls the internet and doesn't allow anyone to use it for free?Copy Right law has just made life HELL.Shouldn't we all be free to do whatever we wish to on the internet without someone bothering us?Whithout any watch dogs?Without any copy right laws?Any ideas?

NO, Although I share some points on the internet not being as free as one would like. But for the things you want such as windows and music files and such. They cost money because they are produce for the "benefit" of the consumers they did not create it out of the goodness of their own hearts. Plus the music you wanted to download, the people who made them for you to enjoy has to pay quite a sum in order to produce vast amounts and by getting them free all the time would you think they would be able to produce more of it. The world or the industry cannot live on petty donations given by their fans or such, that is not the kind of world we live in. Before you blame as Internet being a Fraud look around you first. If the Internet has become that way for you, its because everyone made it that way. Copyright laws whether we like it or not would stay in order for the industries to keep doing what theyre paid to do. What we pay them to do. Or at least that is what I like to believe.
By the way if youre still looking for a free Antivirus that you can get updates. Try getting AVG... search it on yahoo or google.

There are sevaral websites that allow free downloads for a particular period.even our very own yahoo provides some excellent freewares.for listening to free music for a short period you should go to napster.com.if you feel that the softwares you want to use are too costly then go ahead and download freewares.you can get several freewares from freewares.com.let me tell you that freewares are worth a try.
