I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY!!! I usually have just about everything done on by this time. But, I love going out to see what I might find, eat breakfast and go again and I'm home by noon at the very very latest. If I don't like the crowds or see something of a deal, I leave. No big deal----as I don't really have to be there. It started, about 10 yrs. or so ago, when Walmart used to have the must have items and I was in line at 3 am!!! I left there and went to Target, Sears, and than breakfast, and than on again to wherever! I have gone as far at Philly, 4 hrs. away, to shop! I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT I LIVE FOR THIS DAY!
I EVEN SHOP FOR OTHERS SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO GO OUT!!!! HIRE ME~~~~~~~~~I'M FREE!

The only time I ever got a good bargain was when a store offered a certain doll that my daughter wanted for half off at 5am in the morning. I was able to get it, and thought that there would be other great deals, I waited in line for 2 hours for it, and then when it got to be my turn the item was sold out!
That was the first and only year I did that, I can not stand the crowds on that day. I saw nothing but bad attitudes and rudeness from both the other customers and sales clerks, and it wasted my whole day.
Now, I order most of my presents that I want to give online, and shop way ahead of time.

i personally find better bargains on the day after christmas, that is when stores really put out the sales, they know they are going to get a lot of returns and it hurts there christmas sales so, they always give a lot better deals then on black friday. I have 4 kids and we celebrate the day after so i can get them more presents, i mean the prices are jacked up for before christmas they come down the day after.

I will not shop. I know the bargains are great; but the spirit of the stores are just too great for me. the crowds are too great for me!

Hello.
I am a fan of Black Friday shopping.
I love the deals.
I hate all the people.
I do most of my Christmas shopping within 2 hours.
I like to go get in the store get what I think is right and get out.
The lines are long but I personally think its worth it because you get most everything at half price.

I will never understand what makes people go out shopping on "Black Friday". Fighting the traffic, the parking, the crowds... dealing with rude store employees who really hate their jobs. The whole thing sounds like a nightmare. Internet shopping was made for people like me!

It depends, check out the black Friday sites online. If you find out that one of the stores is having a REALLY good deal then go. Otherwise, it's not worth it to me. I enjoy doing online shopping and have done it for the last 4 years.

I only shop online during the Holidays because I hate crowds. But some people really enjoy it.

I artwork retail and could be operating Black Friday. i'm 37 weeks pregnant, and if replaced into an option i does not artwork and that i really does not flow figuring out to purchase. i does not extremely difficulty about getting damage, yet walking round in those loopy crowds and prepared in lengthy lines purely isn't well worth it for me. i'm confident there'll be 1000's of pregnant women people accessible operating and figuring out to purchase Black Friday, besides the undeniable fact that it purely doesn't sound like quite a few interesting to me. no matter if that is easily worth it to then you do it! purely make confident you position on some extremely supportive shoes! solid success!

do not! here are the reasons:
1. too crowd, you get claustrophobia.
2. you are tempted to buy
3. your are tempted to buy items you do not need
4. it is not a fun day -- where everyone is on line, not knowing what exactly is the line for
5. by the time you get to be first in line-- they tell you it is "sold out"
6. stores (specially big items like computers) give the big sales to their own -- (either friends or own staff) --
7. the manager is not around to complain to. -- even if you do -- you lose your case and your valuable time.
conclusion: have a nice day, go for a walk, read, listen to music -- enjoy yourself. hope it helps.
