why is it we can open up to our friends but not our partners?

is it because they will think of us differently? if so, why don't we marry our friends if they are a sex we are interested in.

Whatever u said is wrong in one veiw and right in another. Listen, our life partners are more closer and dearer to us than our friends. One day our friends will get married , and live us forever. But our life partner will always remain with us. They will share our sorrows and joy. That we can never expect from our friends . They be with us when we are in need of them . Our friends are summer birds who come to us for a while and when it is winter goes away. so , I think we r most open to our partners than our friends. But in some cassed , when we get married to a partner whom we don't like or know well, it become's difficult for us to share all our deals with them. Thats a good point. In my opinion. Friend closer us than our partners. we can tell any things to our friends there is some deep connection between us cant explain it.

I think it all depends on the relationship you have. my partner and I don't communicate very well at all, he is 18 yrs my senior and has issues, hence making it impossible for him to accept anything about me, the same thing that are fine with his friends would be forbidden for me, it's just lief it sucks.

What are you talking about??My husband and I talk about EVERYTHING ..We are soul mates and he knows everything about me and I know everything about him it's called open communication and honesty ..I don;t have to worry about what he thinks because he doesn't take things the bad way and vice versa ..We help each other ..
