I love my aunt's Chestnut-Sage Dressing! It's the best! But it's even better served along side a big pile of mashed potatoes and some sliced turkey that's been smothered with turkey gravy!!! I don't even need any of the other stuff that everyone puts on the table. It all just gets passed right by me. And what's with the salad? It's Thanksgiving! I don't eat salad on Thanksgiving!

I agree with you! My mom makes a plate of Deviled eggs every year...and I cant stay away! It's the only time of the year that I ever eat them.

I luuuurrrrve my grandma's Christmas cookies(Christmas cookies in general!) and when I moved to Florida, I asked her for the recipe so I could make them just for myself! Mine aren't as great as hers, but I'm glad I got the recipe because my hubby's family who lives here love them now too!

MASHED POTATOES. I mean come on! Those little country crock cans are nothing to fill you up. You need a big pot of those things w ith red skins on and fresh dill.

Pfeffenussen or those little powdered cookies.

They have a licorice undertaste and I just pop them in one after another
