RUN AWAY. In a relationship, there will be disagreements, but the rights and feelings of the other person should always be respected. When a person disrespects you, he is showing that your feelings are not as important as his own, that he does not hold you in regard. If you put up with this now, he will belittle you until he finds someone that he will tell you is better and smarter than you. You will end up wasting years on a relationship that will continue to get worse. .

Even if he is, it is time to run away. When a person resorts to taking out his/her problems on someone else instead of either talking about what's up, or simply breaking up the relationship, the other one should run. It will only get worse and these reactions are based upon how he was taught to handle his insecurities, or whatever is his problem. No self-respecting person makes pain for another just because they can't handle it. Leave. He was probably taught this through what he saw his parents do and therefore will do the same in all situations because he can't do anything else. The key: it isn't your fault and nothing that you did. And nothing you will do will change it. Get someone who knows how not to hurt someone.

From my experience when my husband resorted to coldness and disrespect he wasn't insecure or feeling inferior he was cheating and l think was too ashamed to look me in the face. I'm sure he was acting like that because he had to act like he didn't care. I know now that he did care but at the time it was very confusing and upsetting for me

Coldness, he might or might not be in a bad mood at the time. As for disrespect, there is no excuse for treating your partner with disrepect. And yes, he is inferior.

If a man resorts to coldness and disrespect, he's asking to be alone!

Yes, he is insecure and probably does not know how to handle frustration and disappointment in life. It is not okay to disrespect someone because you are feeling down. I think that he should instead try to resolve his issues by talking to someone and then resume normal behavior.

Ummm... is this about your personal life or what? I have seen you post up sooo many similar questions in a short allocated time. No offence though. The answer to your question though is quite simple. He can find himself like what you have mentioned or possibly superior. If this ever happened his soulmate should be able to quickly detect his feelings.

In many instances, this behavior is displayed by a person who finds themself in a position with a partner they're trying to end it with, don't have the words to say so ,thus they try the ole" ignore it and it'll go away " thing.....ASK HIM TO TELL YOU WHAT IS REALLY WRONG
