I tested all three beta versions of IE7 an installed the final version. IE7 technology is actually copied from Linex. An it is asbolute garbage.
The entire program slows down your system to a crawl. An I have broadband an it did not make a difference. I even removed all the security out of Ie7 like phishing to scan each webpage. An still IE7 ate up all my resources and slowed my pc almost to a hault.
I removed the IE7 and you will get an automatic roll back to IE6 6.0 -- All of my speed came back.

I think Mozilla is the browser you need. Long time ago I stopped using IE and chose Opera as a browser. After releasing Mozilla Firefox I tested it and understood that it is best browser for now.
P.S. You are not the firs who dissatisfied with Internet Explorer 7...

What i be attentive to is this version has perculiar standards once you install it, like disabling your anti-virus. Uninstall it and deploy it lower back analyzing those instuctions greater heavily.
