To have internet service do I have to have telephone service also? what is the best deal for both in Ohio?

No you don't have to have phone. I have Comcast, DSL Cable internet service. If you want dial up, then you have to have a phone line. Also with virzon dsl, you have to have a phone line, You can also, talk on phone, and be on the computer. With dial up, you can't. Get DSL Cable, it is real fast. My computer is on all the time.
