I'm in desperate need of a style makeover. What fashions will suit a guy in his early thirties - I quite like hipster retro-chic clothing but don't want to dress like a teenager, it'd just look ridiculous.

Jeans or casual trousers with simple shirt and V neck jumper will aways be nice and don't forget a great pair of shoes or retro trainers. The key is the colouration- choose neutral tonal colour not bright colours. You hair style also important, pay a bit more for good hair styler.

slightly loose jeans, nice white or stripped shirt with a v-neck tank sweater over the top, all black or brown converse, gorgeous! john rocha in debanhams has quite nice stuff at mo, was looking for my bro. i think vernon kay always looks good - stylish but young and he's in his 30s but at the end of the day just dress how it makes u feel comfy, that will give u confidence which is always attractive in anyone! dont worry how ppl view u, dress to please u

Magazines like Esquire (maybe it has a website) are about men around your age. My ex used to swear by it for how to dress. Check out the websites here somebody gave you or go to Google and type in "mens clothing". I like that you want to dress nice, the ladies will too!

Preppy looks are really in at the moment.

How about some loose fitting jeans, a plain shirt with a v neck sweater over.

I'd go to a big shop like debenhams, john lewis or something similar, and get a personal shopper - they are free and will be able to show you how to dress to suit you. Have fun!

Try looking into H&M. They have some nice mature yet hip mens styles.

Express is fabulous and sometimes abercrombie and fitch is pretty nice if you're willing to spend a lot. express is seriously the best.
