'Bitten' by Kelley Armstrong is a good read, similar to Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, but more contemporary and featuring werewolves.

Jim Butcher has a series starring a wizard, Harry Dresden, who ends up fighting all sorts including werewolves and vampires. The interesting thing about these books is that it divides the vampires into 3 courts (white, red and black) with each court specializing in a certain type of vampirism (red is the classic blood suckers). I really enjoyed them and so far it's an ongoing series (the Dresden Chronicles).

Wm. Mark Simmons also has series of books about a guy that gets infected by the "vampire virus" but doesn't die. He then has to deal with both the underworld and the regular world on his new terms. The first book is One Foot in the Grave and it was excellent. I have read the second one but don't remember the name. The third one is Habeus Corpses and I haven't picked it up yet. One of the interesting things about the first book is that it explores many of the vampire myths from around the world.

Enjoy.

Jim Butcher's Dresden Files rock. It's about a wizard private eye in Chicago. They're action packed and very funny. It has a satisfyingly high werewolf/vampire/faery/demon/
ghost/chlorofiend/zombie t-rex quotient.
Can't think of any "gross pervy stuff." The books do mention sex, but not gratuitously. It's not a central focus and it's well done when it is done. Can't think of anything that would rate more than PG-13.

I have three but can not choose a favorite. Ann Rice with her vampire Lestadt novel,s excellent reading. Then Terry Brooks and his Knight of the word series hard to put down. Steven R Donaldson and his Thomas Covenant Chronicles. Those are my top three cant chose a favorite.

My favourite is the Lasher series by Anne Rice. No vampires, no werewolves, but the creatures in these novels are WAY scarier!

Don't want to give too much away in case you decide to read them.

But it is really great stuff, and there's no way anyone could guess while they're reading the first book what the creatures are going to turn out to be.

Laurell K Hamiltons Anita Blake series is pretty good. My favourite fantasy novels have definitely got to be the Riftwar Series By Raymond E Feist.

i really liked david eddings mallorean series, but there aren't really an vampires, etc. It's hard to find a good fantasy novel that involves those thems without the strong sexual undertones. If you don't mind the romance then sherrilyn kenyon has a GREAT vampire.werewolf series. it isn't kinky, but the charecters do get together in the end
