Bulk mails is the Mail where the Mail send by the group of people in large quantity which occupies more space than a normal Mail. It is called Bulk Mail Normally The Picture containing Mails will be of Bulk Mails as it was the type of huge in size.

Thrash

Thrash is nothing but the dustbin as we through the Waste and Unwanted things into the dustbin its for through the waste and Unwanted mails Normally it will be in the thrash bin for 30 days

Spam

Spam is the mail which was sent by the person who have the aim to affect our Mail box by dumping there mail and some time virus mail come only the spam mail its also risky to open a spam mail spam mail must to be treated as the risky one and it should not be opened as it may contain the virus

bulk folder - all unusual or doubtful mails or the ones which are not received by you or are suspected of any kind of a virus are directed to this folder where the a/c holder may see / ignore and delete them or direct them to other folder after editing the settings.......
trash folder - mails, promos etc which are deleted are first stored in this folder so that if in case it needs to be retreived than it can be done or if it needs to be deleted permanently than trash folder can be simply emptied....
spam - if it is thought that any one is trying to send anyone spurious mail or content than he can be spammed that is it will block him from sending any more mails.......

in reference to internet,
bulk:- means mails that occupies more space ie messages with lot of info
trash:-means mails which r not required by u r stored here ie if u dont want a message to be in ur inbox , u delete it & it goes to trash
spam:-means mails which r suspected to be currupted r sent her by the comp itself.If any mail is unread here for more than a month its automatically deleted
