Is "The Baron in the Trees" a good book?

I came across this book, and was considering reading it. Is it a good book? What exactly is it about? What lessons or ideas does it express?

Personally, I found it great. It is about a kid who argues with his family and decides to live in the trees for ever. It's very interesting and there are very funny moments. The guy grows up and still doesn't leave the trees. He travels from a tree to an other one and it makes it possible for him to meet people he would surely not have met if he hadn't chosen this way of life.

You should never take the word uf aomeone else with regard
to movies or books. anything anyone would say is to subjective
to have any meaning for youor anyone else.

I never believe critics. I see for myself and so should everyone else.
They wont, of course, but they should.
