I have a research paper due, but I dont know what topic I should right about. it should include something I am interested about. im intrested in volleyball...and thats basically it.

Since research papers should ideally have a question that you want to answer through the research and you are interested in volleyball maybe you would want to consider "Why was volleyball added to the summer Olympics?" You can pick any question of interest ut be sure it is not too broad so that you lack a focus and get lost in the reserach part of the paper. Have fun with it!

In my opinion, best topic over volleyball could be ''socio-economic prospects in volleyball''. I don't know whether it suits u!
