Girls like shy guys just as long as they arent boring. Be yourself and just start talking to her about anything, then maybe ask her if you should like to go to lunch or a movie.

I do not know. I am shy too and have been single for years and years at a time. I now have a constant pain inside because of all I have missed from being so alone and shy.
I think the best thing is to push yourself out there and make your self speak to the girls. Do not worry about the no's you will get and just keep trying till you get a yes! Once you get a yes your self confidence will go through the roof and it will be easier the next time. then it will get easier and easier!

from experience it really doesnt matter what you do in order to flirt with girls just as long you are confident while doing it. The biggest turn off girls tell me is a guy without confidence so just fake it even if you do not initially feel like a stud. Also all the love movies and shows are bullsh*t. All these cute lines that make the girl smile and fall in love with you on these shows will not happen. I hate to say it but the nice sweety guys will always finish last. Just go with the "take what is yours" mentallity and women will be after you instead of you going after them. Do not be so soft but instead be a little rough around the edges. Trust me, girls will not want to admit it most of the time but being too nice can also be a turn off and boring.

Girl's love shy boys, thats why I like this shy boy at school but try to be closer to the girl's that u like , then they will start talkin' about good things of u!

you can start it by IM or texting her.. if she's a bit of the talkative type you wouldn't have a hard time.. you could go out with her alone.. you'll be force to speak.. so she wouldn't get bored.. she might find a way to encourage you to speak..
