Why would a man call up a woman and tell her he's "hungry" for her and he has been thinking about her for days, the look of her face, just being with her? Is he only trying to get some, or is he really going nuts without her around? He also says things to her like he wants a future, and when he finds out certain things that certain people have done to her, he wants to "defend" her. Guys, what is up with you? Especially the foreign ones. WHy don't you just come out with it already and say your feelings in words instead of these complex little coined phrases?

The reason I am asking is that he's usually a tough nut to crack. He never comes out with what he really feels and says it, much less gives a call to say those feelings. You have to convince him that he can say what he feels. He's usually the strong silent type, and not a horny pig either.

loll men cant just come out and say what they feel...most men are taught not to show their emotions and since love is the biggest emotion of all its hard for them to express it ...i personally think they try to express it to us with humor...and those little coined phrases you mentioned....they can't really express their emotions in the way us women want to hear it....and if the guy you speak of keeps calling you over and over he's clearly very interested in you or actually loves you..if he just called you out of the blue like once a week or so he's just looking for some booty....women have to explain everything to a man i swear... we put the words out their for them and they either agree or not..i hope this changes for men ...

If its an american guy this is a good sign.... they are not really taught how to communicate with a woman and in attempting to speak this way means he's trying. Foreign guys are a bit more slick though and know better how to say these things to woo a woman into bed. But to be fair it depends on what the culture he is from is....... middle eastern or Indian probably just getting you there and will treat you badly once you are hooked. Hispanic.... better and sounds good as it is more of a romantic culture. European and he says these things it usually means he's serious. Now this is all a generalization. Bottom line is that only you can know. Men all over the world are taught different things. But the common thing is to "defend" and protect your family and thats how a mans view works. It means more to a man than a woman can usually interpret. It means I will be there for you.

he's hungry? = look out he might be a cannibal !
he's been thinking for days? = obssessive compulsive?
wants a future? = he'll have a future with or without you
defend you? = are you a wuss, can't you defend yourself?
= with his fists? = is he violent?

He might be just saying what he thinks you want to hear.
He might be unconvinced what his feelings are so he doesn't want to label them with a name.
He might not have had the social education to undertand that he can have his feelings and express them as he feels is appropriate, but he also needs to respect you which means he will consider who you are and how you need him to communicate to you. Maybe you can be part of his education, and teach him how to communicate along the female mentality, then you can decide if you trust him. But don't lead him on, and then dump him, he might really be a cannibal, you have to show him respect as well, and tell him how you feel, in terms he will understand.
Communication is a double edged sword/ a two way street. What you say to him, he might view as being confusing, infact I reckon there is most likely going to be a lot of miscommunication. But this miscommunication is a normal part of life in every relationship.
Good luck

I dunno. I never said anything like that. But a lot of men do tend to become obsessed with a certain woman, to the point that they are interested in no other, and it's not a particularly pleasant thing. I have. More than once. It seemed I was powerless to do anything about it. It's hard to verbalize what one feels in these situations, but in any case, as I said, it's not pleasant for a man to be there, nor is it particularly healthy, but it's harder than one would think to stop it. She will dominate your waking thoughts, and if one succeeds in forcing them out of his head, she will take over his dreams. If a man gets this way about his partner, then loses her at some point, the loss is incredibly brutal.

That's one thing I know about as well. Took me a long time to learn not to put every single emotional egg in one basket.

The guys you mention are at least in some cases, trying to communicate honestly what they are feeling, albeit clumsily. Some may be just trying to get some. But probably fewer than you think.

He is saying he wants you and your constantly on his mind, he misses you. Don't get caught up thinking about "a future" cause only time can tell what the future will bring, saying he wants to defend you is a natural male instinct don't pay attention to it. Hell I've stood up for a female stranger on more than one occasion. Now there is alot of ways to say I love you, could be with words, a nice gesture, women seem to be locked in on hearing those three special words "I Love You" and too often don't appreciate his feelings and efforts towards showing her those feelings.

hes saying this ,, he wants to have sex w/ the person as long as he can , as much as he can ,, for as little commitment as he needs and is saying these other things so whoever will believe that these are intentions on building a future,, which in turn its just about building a future of more sex , w/ no possibility of any relationship or commitment,, when whoever it is starts catching on he'll just move on and find the next "fish in the sea",, so to say,,, he only wants one thing ,, to F U C K and do it alot !!!

The men you are talking about are emotionally immature. Find one that has his head together, knows what he wants, has a future planned out and can handle things when the going gets rough.

Most men will say anything to get into your pants if they think it might work. But really it depends on the individual.
