I am suspicious.
Whats with all of the personal info??
All the emails and phone numbers?
According to your post you are a college educated person.
And you come to yahoo answers for what is obviously a job for an immigration lawyer.

What happens when some sympathetic person contacts one of the e mails?
Is the game on?

If you filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa, and have never met in person, then this is why you were denied. A requirement of the I-129F is that you must have met in person within at least 2 years of filing.

You were probably also denied the visitor visa because you either didn't have enough financial documents or ties to country of residence, or because you had already filed the I-129F, which shows intent to immigrate.

They should supply a reason.

However in most Western countries a visa can be denied if there is insufficient evidence of a bona fide relationship. Exactly how did you (in Uganda) meet up with a teacher in Florida? HOw long have you been going out together? Have you got letters and e-mails and phone records to validate your story?

I would be uncomfortable if somebody posted my address, age, phone number and e-mail address.

Your question should be directed to the local US consulate. It's the right of a country to make it's own laws, and so it is their right to decide who can and who can't come in. I'd say you haven't complied with the conditions they set down, that's assuming you aren't what they'd call "a security risk".
Excuse me for saying so, but putting this detail on the internet is stupid. AND you're a lecturer at a University.

Well when Linda starts getting all the telephone calls and emails after posting her personal details all over the internet I doubt you will be "betrothed" for long, so I think the answer is not going to have any relevance.
