(Carbon) + (Oxygen) = (Carbon Dioxide)
C4 + 4O2 = 4*CO2
The 2's and the first 4 (associated with the letter C) are subscripts. Also note that neither oxygen nor carbon can occur naturally as a single atom. Since Carbon has four "bonds" that can be made, it rquires 4 atoms to make a stable compound. Likewise, oxygen with its 2 bonds requires doubling up to be stable.
When you mix a stable carbon (C4) with 4 stable oxygens (4*O2) and add some energy, you get 4 carbon dioxides.

Symbol used for :
Carbon = C & for
Oxygen = O2 { here 2 as subscripted }
Hence Carbon Dioxide = CO2 {di means 2}

Carbon Dioxide means "Carbon and two (di) oxygens". Which means it's CO2 Most of the other ones you asked can be figured out the same way. "Mon" = 1 "Di" = 2 "Tri" = 3 "Tetra" = 4 You're not doing yourself any favors by having everyone else tell you all the answers - you need to LEARN this stuff, not just copy and paste someone else's answers.

CO2
1 Carbon
2 Oxygen--> Dioxyde ('di' always means 2)
so you put a little 2 at the bottom of the O to show that there are 2 of 'em...
