Im 14 and im 5 ft 8' but i want to be taller. Is there any food that encourages growth? Is there any excersises that help?

No, there isn't. You are more than likely not finished growing yet so be patient and let your body take it's natural course. Eat properly, lots of veggie, fruit and whole grains to give your body all the nutrients it needs. Try not to drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs. Not treating your body properly and poor nutrition can actually stunt growth.

well, if it makes you feel any better, i am 23 and 5 ft. 8'. there are some things that you can do to encourage growth, but there is no way to really know if it will be the cause of your growth or if you were going to be that tall anyway. I wouldn't suggest lifting heavy weights, it can stunt your growth plates. Also, stay away from cigarettes......also will stunt growth. Try to stretch as much as possible and drink lots of milk for your bones. I would also suggest eating lots of vegetables and foods with protein. These things could most definately have a positive effect on your growth.

That height is pretty good for your age! Don't worry, you are still growing in height, till you reach the age of 21. No need for fads, diets, or what.
