My teenage years was dealing with a alcoholic
father who beat my mother.I was always told I was no good and would never amount to nothing.I was never aloud to go to school dances or ever have a friend over because i was always afraid of my dad coming home drunk and Never aloud to have a boyfriend ...that made me a whore....
along with my 4 other siblings...family members would never want anything to do with us,It was like they look down on us because we couldnt go to family get togethers because my dad would have to drink and curse the whole family.
But out of 5 children not one of us drink and never abuse our loved ones....we turned out to be a close family and refuse to turn out like our father....I have 3 children now and they have never encountered anything like i did in my childhood.....So It doesnt stick with you when you grow up unless you let

My teenage years were great. I had the best time, if I could I would do it all over again. Sure I had a few down moments but for the most part it was all up. I had great friends, male and female. I went to 4 proms 2 were mine. My parents gave me a brand new Firebird convertible for my high school graduation. Like I said, I would do it all over again.

Well, never really had teenage years. I was a mother of one at age 14. A mother of 2 at age 16. A mother of three at age 19. A mother of 4 at age 20 and a mother of 5 at age 20. So I wouldn't know.

When I was in high school life was crap. But after I graduated and became my own person, got married everything has been fine. It isn't good to carry negative experiences around with you. Take what happened and learn from it. Become a better stronger person because of it. I know it doesn't work in all instances, but it does in most. God Bless.

My high school days were wonderful! As far as I can see students that did not have a high school experience also came from dysfunctional families.
