Its, quite a common symptom. I've had it myself. There is probably some slight irritation to one of your lumber nerves ( the ones in your lower back) You might have twisted your back or slept in an awkward position.
You don't necessarily have to have any back pain with this complaint.
It will probably come and go for a week or two then go away by itself.
Do you find the area feels very sensitive to touch?
You can also get the same sensation in other areas- forearm and backs of shoulders are common.
If in doubt or if things get worse see your Dr.
Hope this helps

Highest crime rates ...highest homeless rates...highest rate of disease..highest drug use. These are all true statistics as well yet you leave those out. Cities are by nature where people congregate so a major urban center will always be where the jobs are and by extent the wealthiest. Do you really think that Altoona, Kansas has the same draws as NYC? With every city you have those who are conservative and those who are liberal. While most of the people are liberal when you look at the demograohics you will find that most of the "richest" individuals (meaning people who have high paying jobs and own companies) are conservative. And most of the smartest are too. This excludes College employees who are very "smart" but liberal by nature (doubtless due to never having to compete in the real world)

This is an odd one, not much help, I'm afraid, as you've no doubt considered it already, but a quick trip to your GP show set your mind at ease.
Hope it's something trivial - I'm sure it is.

If you have had a bandage on there recently, it is probably an allergic reaction to the glue. Or it could be ringworm (fungal infection). Either way, it should be looked at, both are minor and easily treated if dealt with early.

You have a diffuse infection, and should show it to a doctor before it gets worse. You need antibiotics. Lots of them. Fast. By the time it is intolerably painful it could be too late.

It may be an indication of a back injury, mine is about halfway down between the knee and hip and varies from numb to irritating. I HAVE a back injury. so you might have hurt yourself and not realise it>
