I had an acute attack of pancreatits once. That is the worst pain I ever had in my life, and my vomit button was hung for at least 3 and a half hours. I thought I was going to die, and I found out later that I easily could have. Pancreatitis can be deadly.

You have had this (presumably), and judging by the fact that you are even considering to drink something so toxic soon after an attack, I come to the conclusion that you must have mental problems. AA and prayer worked--and still work--very well for me.

To answer your question, someone may tell you 6 weeks, or something like that. But there is really no way to tell when your body will be up to that after an attack of pancreatitis. How severe was the attack? How much damage was done to your pancreas? Have you fully recovered yet? It may take a very long time for your pancreas to heal, even if you feel reasonably alright, it may still not be in good shape.

IMO, you should avoid alcohol for good. But if you're determined to drink, I would then give it at least six months. I am not a doctor, but I did have acute pancreatitis once, and it was during a time in my life when I drank alcohol regularly.

May you come to know the Lord Jesus, and have a peaceful eternity.

Sounds like longviewcyclist said it best. Get help if you need it. You should be focused on healing instead of when you can have your first binge. The next time could kill you. Good luck and best wishes.

why ask 4 times? Sounds like a question for a doctor anyways.
