and even if you beleive uncontested, without a doubt, EVERY word of the bible conciously---

the ancient sea scrolls....many of them, are missing.....the bible is a compilation of "apocrypha" of different writtings....most of it written way afte jesus's death...Not even by those who witnessed jesus himself!!!!

so how can you be certain in the message of the bible, when its inherently incomplete??

One of the apostles may have had a message (given to him by Jesus), which was similar to "doubt and the humility of not knowing God"

and that the words of God is inside us, not in a book, that the bible was only a "guide", a human written book.....but since such message was not compiled into the bible because the chuch wanted to gain pure "authoritarian" control at the time...it was scripted out, and you do not see it today...what then? what if there was a message?

How can you rule such a possibility?

This is why keeping an open mind, and questioning to get the answers from the voice of God inside you...is the path to knowing the truth. Doubting, is a healthy dose...

and know that certainty is only reserved for the God

for to claim absolute certainty is blasphemous....yes, the bible is the true message of God...but could it be incomplete?

In other words: the message of God is truely in our hearts, not in the bible.

Tim P...I beg to differ...study your history friend...

the bible has been changed, tampered, re-sought, reclassified.....

the roman empire decided to "choose" what would be in the book...so how can you say its the "word of God" if it has been tampered such by humans?

The bible is the Word of God..... Yes, it is incomplete meaning that there are many many things that God doesn't tell us in the bible, things hidden from our sight ...but the bible that we use today is the full written word of God. No other scripture is going to float down from heaven and reveal anything different to us..... The formation of the canon of the bible is very interesting and worthy of study, why some books were included and why some were dismissed as not genuine, etc.

I think it's all there is. It so happen that all people can't feel satisfied at all times. The enemy himself was keep inserting doubts to all weakling like us, bco'z he's totally a loser! He made Satan for a purpose. that's why he keep doing all sorts of things to his children that would disappoint God. d enemy knows in all ways he cannot win ever!^^ God is absolutely perfect! He was & is always in control. He has a purpose for everything & he make all things work together for good. Jesus wants u to be in doubts so u could rely on him everytime. It's very simple, If you really believe in God, there's no way for you to be in doubt. If sometimes u have questions? just ask him then open ur bible and he'll lead you. Trust him.

A Holy Book brought by the Messenger of God is complete till His return or till the next Manifestation. Christ has clearly stated about this fact:

16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
(King James Bible, John)

14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(King James Bible, John)

Yes there are some missing 'stories' or grey areas that does not make sense to us humans in the centuries after Christ.
But if you really want to be critical, then it is necessary to compare these missing links or missing chapters to 'other' philosophies, just to realize that these 'other' philosophies don't really make sense at all. Some areas will then have to be left as is.
The Bible teaches "believing is seeing".

The Bible contains everything we need to know for our salvation. But the Scriptures, being the Written Word, is but a partial reflection of the Living Word, who is Christ Himself.

The apostle Paul said, "For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete - as complete as God's knowledge of me."
1 Corinthians 13.9-10, 12 GNT

This complete knowledge of Him shall be ours when we finally meet the Lord face-to-face.

There are many things we don't know and won't know until God reveals them to us. The Bible even says so. The Bible is the complete Word of God for this world it is all we need and tells us all we need to know.

In a sense, yes. The Catholic Church teaches that the fullness of religious revelation lies in the Bible and in the Sacred Tradition of the Church.

The Sacred Tradition is not to be confused with human tradition, which is not part of religious revelation.

yes you're absolutely right!!! much of what Jesus said is not in the bible. they put things in as though he did but did not do in actuality. and where does Paul talk about any of the miracle that Jesus did??? he never mentions them at ALL!!! and Christians areblinded by beliefs that are totally opposed to one another!

Could be incomplete. Maybe the missing message from God is "You know all that stuff I gave you for the book. It only applies to Albanians".
