and even if you beleive uncontested, without a doubt, EVERY word of the bible conciously---

the ancient sea scrolls....many of them, are missing.....the bible is a compilation of "apocrypha" of different writtings....most of it written way afte jesus's death...Not even by those who witnessed jesus himself!!!!

so how can you be certain in the message of the bible, when its inherently incomplete??

One of the apostles may have had a message (given to him by Jesus), which was similar to "doubt and the humility of not knowing God"

and that the words of God is inside us, not in a book, that the bible was only a "guide", a human written book.....but since such message was not compiled into the bible because the chuch wanted to gain pure "authoritarian" control at the time...it was scripted out, and you do not see it today...what then? what if there was a message?

How can you rule such a possibility?

This is why keeping an open mind, and questioning to get the answers from the voice of God inside you...is the path to knowing the truth. Doubting, is a healthy dose...

Men deliberately removed parts of the bible because it didn't fit their idea of what the bible should teach. It wasn't God who told them to remove those books it was their own idea. Sadly people today think that they acted on the behalf of God, and that their censorship was correct. Instead of questioning those men and their actions people today think that the parts of the bible that those men left is the only word of God and that there is no more than that.

there have been times throughout the last 2,000yrs that false Gospels and other writings have been used to discredit the Christian message and mostly by Jews, and secret societies and these writings mysteriously pop up always at a given time and people follow these as if the 4 Gospels that we have are not really good enough.
these false writings and those who hold them up as true always have a hidden agenda, look how many times someone has apparently discovered a new message (Gospel, writing etc) when they are writing a book or novel or trying to bash the true word of Christ, these dishonest people know fully well how we hunger for more and more knowledge and that we will suck up whatever they present to us, it`s an age old ploy and still many fall for it.
there have always been rumours of lost Gospels and yet not one has been proven as authentic except the 4 Gospels that we have today.
there is a supposed Gospel of Thomas and that of Judas and the evidence so far suggests they are 2nd or 3rd century forgeries, and therefore could not have been written by either .

you be attentive to, psychologically there are sound motives for "turning the different cheek" . Jesus, replaced into reported to have reported many "sensible" issues, and an astounding sort of of the asserting of Jesus, his followers already knew , from the readings and massive discussions between the sensible adult adult males that dwelt upon scripture readings. If one we could somebody's offense "bypass" and does no longer retaliate, it lessens the impression of the crime or injury crammed incident. It supplies the attacker time to contemplate what they did, and needless to say, repent and make amends. The attacker's verbal or actual action is what would be witnessed, and others will choose them , no longer you. Its a merciful thank you to deal with a private attack. Others can of course see who replaced into injury, and how, and your case before a choose is fairly simplistic, "they're the undesirable guy, you are the sufferer". And townsfolk will choose too. So he's basically attempting to reiterate how sensible it somewhat is, to "turn the cheek" and not "sin" by potential of having revenge and subsequently complicating issues even worse. As on your question, why carry out a little Christians very own weapons, its an identical reason some Christians lie to, gossip, tell fake memories approximately in spite of, to impression, forget their offspring to make adults think of they're astounding upstanding human beings, use God to get a paintings merchandising or a job, or the Presidency , you be attentive to, its no longer what you be attentive to , yet WHO you be attentive to ; ) regardless of the undeniable fact that, it would be actual unfair to declare basically Christians do those issues, Mormons are worse...

Sure, there could be other, missing parts of the Bible... but if there ARE, I would be willing to bet they will be in line with the other books. God would not send us a manuel, if you will, that would contradict His ultimate purpose and instructions if it were broken apart and then refound. What would be the point? So if any new gospels or other books are found, I am confindent they will harmonize with what we already have!

Well the bible is a man-made document. Written by men and arranged by men. There is much information that was deliberately left out. Let us not forget these facts.

However to believe in it "as is" is faith. As long as we don't try to make it more than it is.

My problem with books being left out of the bible is that, what I was taught is that you are not to take away from the bible or add to it. By leaving out books, to me that is taking away from the bible.

The True Founder of Christianity

The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.
