how would you know if a guy really loves you, or if he just pities you?

i met this guy in a ..self help chat channel before. i was an emo teen then. now we've both grown to our mid 20s. still havent met yet. hes nice and sweet and i'd rather not go into details :)

thing is how do i know if he jst does it for fears that i might cut myself or something?

its weird....guys usually want it to be "official"

i cant just go and ask him 'DO YOU LOVE ME"?
one time i was totally drunk and i think he said I LOVE YOU more than twice but im not sure if it was a statement or a question! :(

What u say , i feel scared of . Because in chat our identity is false, age , everything is false. How can u depent on that. But may be he likes u. Join the chat room today and ask him through instant message"does he loves u or not" , if yes then move forward with ur relationship. And if not then just forget it out . I think this will be the best way of nowing ur answer. Thanks for sharing ur question and seeing it with my veiw. In future i would like to see more of u . Take care.

Personally I only know if I like a girl, if I feel like seeing her again after we sleep together. My advice sleep with him, if he talks to you within the next week he likes you.
